Jordan S. Johnson, MD

Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana, and he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology from Centenary College of Louisiana. He earned his doctorate of medicine from LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport. While in medical school he was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

After completing his Ophthalmology residency at LSU Health Sciences Center Shreveport, Dr. Johnson finished a two-year Vitreo-Retina Surgery fellowship at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.

A board certified Ophthalmologist, Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists.

In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife, son and dogs. He also likes hunting, watching football and the great outdoors.
